Which red blooded male over the age of 30 doesn’t remember the awesome series that was the ‘A Team’? Every pre-pubescent boy wanted to be at least one of the characters and many a playground adventure was had reliving the current episode’s events.
We all know that boys simply never grow up and every meat eating, cigar chomping MAN would STILL love to repeat those days of abandon, especially now that the ‘A Team’ film has arrived to remind him of that bunch of ex-commando misfits who always came good though using mercenary tactics and clashing with authority.
The GMC Vandura van used by the A-Team has become an enduring pop culture icon. In black and metallic grey with its characteristic red stripe; black and red turbine mag wheels; and rooftop spoiler, it was the envy of us all. Okay, so maybe we can’t all afford to buy the genuine article but there is now a replica remote control version available to keep us happy!
Just like the real thing, the van has working headlights, bull bars, red wheels, rubber tyres, roof lights, a red spoiler and absolutely best of all, the Official GMC logo on the grill. Battery powered and in a large or small version to suit space and budget this must surely be top of every ‘A Team’ fan’s birthday or Christmas list.
